It does not go into much detail but provides an overall timeline for events that happened. It helped me sketch an outline of all the major events during the genocide. Atrocity in Dili, September 1999: The decapitated body of a young Timorese male is dragged behind a motorcycle by an Indonesian policeman and his accomplice. Gendercide Watch. N.p., n.d. I was able to use this picture to show some of the atrocities committed by the Indonesian police, army and paramilitary group.

"8.6.4 Responsibilities of the United States." NSA. District of Columbia. Reading. This primary source helped me talk about the United States responsibility during the East Timor Genocide. This primary source document has greatly helped me understand what the United States has given as support.
